I used polishes my sister bright home from South Korea: Innis 26 and 4.

Acid Wash

I participate in the Nail Polish Queens community on Google+ and they have weekly challenges. I don't always join, but when I saw this week's challenge was denim, I knew it would give me a chance to use the Habit Blue Velvet I got in my Nail Art Society box a few months ago. I decided to use the saran wrap technique to get an acid wash denim effect.

I always seem to use these two polishes together. They just compliment each other so well.

Red White And Blue

After attempting a different accent nail three times (Yeah, I'm stubborn), I scrapped it and went with something more simple. I think I like this better than the other idea.

Independence Day Ideas

Today I took out all my reds, whites, and blues, and some nail studs and sequins and a nail wheel. I just freehanded as many ideas that came to mind. Some ideas are better than others. Some would be better if I'd been more careful with the execution. 

Shattered Stripes

I have been a Nail Art Society subscriber for awhile and sometimes I use the things they send right away and sometimes I'm guilty of sticking it in my nail art supplies box and forgetting them. I decided to try using the forgotten ones in the next few manis.

I can't really capture these mylar flakes but it's so pretty the way they flash in the light.

Marchesa Half Moons

I picked up these Revlon by Marchesa nail wraps on a whim a few months ago. I like that the background was clear, you really have a lot of possibilities. I decided to trim them into half moons to layer over this amazing silver holo by Color Club (my first Color Club and I'm impressed). My nails are short enough that I can use the other half as a full nail wrap!

P.S. I'm still dealing with peeling from I think contact dermatitis, but I think it's getting better.
